September, October, And Another Move

We went to a preseason basketball game and Whit got the jazz bear painted on his forehead. Pretty cute! Crew also ran into a friend from Idaho, Shandon!

Oh, my Drakey baby turned 9 this year! I can't believe how fast Crew and Drake are growing up! So crazy! Drake had his friend Broncs over.

This was Whit saying goodnight to his Dad one night. 'LL Kool Whit!!

We added the backyard curbing and flower bed we'd wanteed the whole year and a half we lived in Erda! Of course, right before we listed our house on the market!!

Rett was able to get the Preston, Idaho manager position so we listed our home for sale, showed it 6 times in the first 24 hours, had an offer over asking price by the next day ....crazy! And we convinced thr buyer to let us stay in the home till the end of October so we had somewhere to stay while the boys finished their football season. We had a week we stayed with friends and that worked out great! Rett started in Idaho the last week in August, so once again we did the living apart and off and on family for a couple months. It was no fun. But we survived!

On the day of our first football playoff games Grandpa Lip took the kids on the Heber Creeper train ride. Whit and Frankie had fun!

Crew and X Patch. This is the family we stayed with the last week in Erda. They were so great and selfless in sharing their home, their food, and their friendship!

The last summer Whit and the neighbor boy Boston Brown became really good friends. Mostly they were naughty terrors and drove us crazy. But they were good buds.

And Whit learned to ride a bike with no major falls! It was so fun and he was so excited!!

May 2017

Another project finished! Crown moulding in the living room!

Jessica had this from her bridal shower from Grandma Cook. So cute. We sure miss that sweet lady!

Drake and Trent at flag football.

Crew, Max, and Cole at their program.

I ran the thanksgiving point half marathon that is put off for way too many years with my friend Amy Dearden.

The boys got to meet this retired NFL player. And do you know his best advice, school comes first!

Dad's birthday!

And my new favorite home decor items, my frames family proclamation and the living christ.

Whit collected over 100 snails!

Drake and Mrs. Ore, 2nd grade end of school.

Crew and Mr. Yoder, 4th grade, end of school.

One of my least favorite projects, painting the exterior of the 2 story house. But the kids got a ride out of it!

April 2017

We had our friends the Stevensons come down from Idaho and went to do some fun and creepy things with them!

This is Stockton, Maddex, and Whit. Stockton and Whit were born the same day. And Maddex is a couple years older. Whit looks like a giant ogrover!

We finished these super easy faux shiplap walls in our hallway and the master bedroom. So easy and so cute!

We also finished the subway tile backsplash in the kitchen. First time tiling together!!

And we redid our bedroom set!

Crew turned 10 this year and wanted a reece's cake. This was AMAZING!

Whit of course found this awesome splashing puddle at practice.

Drake and his buddy Broncs Baker.

Crew got a visit from his friend Shandon from Idaho.
