Family Visit

Oldest sister was blessing her baby and Fishy grandparents (my parents), Uncle Josh, and my grandparents came to town. It was a super fun weekend. We got to spend lots of time with everyone. We spent time on temple square, at Tiffs, and at our house.

Grizzlies Hockey Game

My sister and her family took the big boys to a Utah Grizzlies hockey game and they had a blast. So one Monday we had school off and Rett had to work. So I took them to a game and we had a ton of fun. I was a little weirded out by the excitement my boys showed towards the fighting and viokence. But it was fun to be with them.

Mud Room

So our next project after painting was to build a mud room. When we bought the house it was more of just an empty hallway between the garage entry way and the half bathroom. But it had perfect potential for a bench, coat hooks, and shelves. I must say that I am super impressed with my man's hidden wood working skills! He did a fantastic job. I am loving this mud room even more than my last one!

Provo Temple Open House

We were able to go through the Provo City Center Open House. It was beautiful! Lots of beautiful dark wood. We got to go with Rett's mom and two of his siblings. It was a neat day for the boys to get to see a beautiful House of the Lord.

Unpacking at the New House and Silly Boys

So, we got into our new home right between Christmas and New Years. But the house was a wreck and needed some major cleaning, patching of walls, and repainting. So we opted to have the relocation company hold onto our stuff for a couple of weeks before delivering it. This gave us time to get those thingsdone without having to work around stuff. We camped out here at the new house and some with Grandma Teresa. We thought we had ample time but things always take longer than you hope. Needless to say, after a lot of work we got the house cleaned and painted. It was a tan color on the walls and ceilings. So we painted the ceilings white and the walls grey. We really like how well it turned out.

This definitely isn't our dream home. But we are together as a family again which is all that really matters! We found a small town that is as rural as we can get with an acre of land and a decent commute for Rett to work in the city.

The kids had a blast with the boxes and paper while I worked my tail off for days trying to unpack and organize the new house. It was a ton of work but we got it done!

Whit is a silly boy!

He loves tongs!! He likes to eat with them, pick things up with them, and sometimes pinches us with them.

This one kill me. He actually fell asleep on Rett's legs hanging off the foot rest!  I wish I could sleep that well!

New Years 2016

We had a fun New Years and got to spend it with Rett's siblings and cousins. The kids were so funny. And the bug boys tried so hard but didn't make it to midnight!

Paked House

When we built our home in Idaho we thought we'd be there forever, or at least for a very long time. So we were sad when career and life forced a move back to Utah. But there are lots of great things back in Utah. We're closer to some family which is so nice. And we lived a crazy 10 months as a part tI'm family. So the best part of the move is being back together full time!

Whit had a blast climbing on all the boxes!!

Christmas 2015

We had a great Christmas! It was a little bitter sweet. We closed on the sale of our home and knew we had a few short days left in the house. But we were grateful to get one last Christmas in our home that we loved so much!

Rett worked Christmas Eve day so the boys and I were looking for things to do. We met tj e missionaries and told them Merry Christmas and gave them some chocolates. Then we visited the nursing home. This is something we've done for a while now. But this year Crew and Drake were so amazing! They were great at talking, asking questions, and truly caring about the people there. It made me so happy to see them wanting to serve and visit. They even met the most amazing lady who was a huge Utah Jazz basketball fan and had a great time talking with her! It was a great way to spend the day!

The basketball jerseys were the favorite gift this year.

And Whit LOVES to haul stuff around in his little wagon!

Visit from our favorite French relatives!

Little Whit is NUTS!! He keeps me on my toes. Saturday at a basketball game he fell between some old, awfully dangerous bleachers and bumped his check bone. But it actually didn't get as bad as I thought it would. Today he fell on the rower and scraped his nose. But he is the life of the house. And he's got some good competition from his big brothers!

Here are some cute Santa pictures from a community get together. At first when I asked Whit if he'd sit with Santa he would say a very stern "no", but he didn't seem to mind once he got there!

And we were so lucky to get to have a good visit with Aunt Bree, Uncle Romain, and baby cousin Ernest. They spent their first few days with Grandpa Kip and Grandma Deb. We spent one evening with them there. The boys had so much fun and fell asleep within minutes of leaving to head home. Then they came to our house. Romain was so good to help the boys with their art work. They thoroughly enjoyed the visit!! And I loved the snuggle time with the little guy, and some great catch up conversation. Now they're at Grandma Teresa's where I'm sure there is only a little spoiling going on!
