Well, he's a toddler. And he's into mischief. And he doesn't always have great balance or common sense. So when we heard him crying downstairs in Crew's room last night it was nothing unusual. But then Crew ran upstairs saying that Whit was bleeding all over really bad, I ran down to see what was going on. I am still not sure what he hit his poor little nose on! There's not tons in the room to begin with. But somehow, the poor guy bonked pretty hard. I couldn't decide if it looked super deep or not. So I texted my mom a picture and asked a neighbor nurse and they both said maybe you should take him in. Luckily, Preston has an urgent care that is open till 8 and it was only 7. So, I took him. They couldn't really see it because he was moving around so much, so they decided to give him a shot that would calm him down. And it did. It was hilarious. And I'm sad I didn't get a better video. But he just laid there giggling and reaching in the air. He tried to sit up, and couldn't. He was really good after that and they decided it had already started to heal well on its own, but just to be sure, they super glued it shut. When we got back he couldn't even walk without tipping over because he was a little too relaxed! He looked like a drunken sailor! It was so funny. This was my first urgent care visit for any of the boys. And it wasn't that bad because he was ok, I was just worried about it scaring. I am grateful I haven't had to deal with injuries more. It is no fun! But I'm glad the little guy is ok. He's a trooper. And it helped me stay calm that he wasn't crying or in tons of pain!
