First day of School!!! August 19, 2014.
Drake entered Kindergarten this year. He is doing a full day, five days a week, just like the big kids!
He had a great first day and was so excited. He was mostly excited about taking a lunch to school, playing with friends at recess, riding the bus, and getting to wear his new clothes. His morning teacher's name is Mrs. Waite and his afternoon teacher is Mrs. Koller. We love Mrs. Koller, Crew had her in kindergarten, and she is amazing! I can't believe our Drakey is growing up so fast!
Crew had his first day of 2nd Grade. His teachers name is Mrs. Lanier. He thinks she's the nicest teacher ever! So far it has been great. He was excited about being able to see his friends again and playing basketball at recess.
Crew and Drake are working hard this year on reading and math. They are both excellent already, and love being able to learn things about sports from reading books. They are also working on watching out for each other and being good examples to their friends. We love you guys and are so proud of all that you learn! And hope you make it a great school year!
