Our little Crew is 8 years old! It's hard to believe! He had a great birthday...Really a great birthday week!!! It started out on Wednesday evening when the whole family went to the Jump Zone. They have giant trampolines, areas for basketball on tramps, dodge ball on tramps, pits full of foam blocks, rope swings, and much more. And I so wish we had some pictures of that! The boys had a blast. Whit didn't know what to think at first. Rett was holding him on one of the giant trampolines and started to jump up and down and Whit had a look of pure terror on his face, which was accompanied by a hilarious noise in which he was obviously showing his displeasure with the whole thing!! But since then, he has been jumping on beds and couches like crazy, so I think it gave him a little dare devil side.
The following Thursday we celebrated Crew's birthday with dinner, cake, and presents. He wanted homemade pizza, a green salad, and peanut butter cup ice cream with his cake. He wanted a lot of different things on his birthday. And of course didn't get them all. But he was happy with his shooting sleeve and spandex for basketball. And his cake had Lebron James symbol on it, so he was excited about that!
Birthday morning he got a waffle with ice cream and strawberries! Yummy!
Rett had to work on the actual day of Crew's birthday, so I invited some friends and took the boys to the Utah State University spring football game. It was a blue vs white game where they played each other. We got to have a fun lunch, got lots of free stuff, had fun watching the game, and then got to meet and get autographs from the players. You would have thought they were NFL players. We also got autographs from Big Blue and that was tons of fun! All the boys had a blast and were so proud of their swag!
