Then on Christmas Day, we had planned on visiting Grandpa & Grandma Cook and Grandma Teresa, but we got a ton of snow, and decided to just stay home. We've never not gone anywhere on Christmas before, but it was actually kind of nice. Crew played all day with his new toys and we were able to go visit family later that week.

Crew got a wooden gun and he loves it! It is so funny, it's way bigger than he is, but he walks around with it and says "boom". He loves to take it into the office where Rett has a big goose mounted and shoots at that too! It is really cute, unless you don't like guns or shooting.
He also got the little four wheeler which he loves.
And my mom sent us this tube of candy for Crew's stocking. It had this little toy dog attached to the top, I don't think she realized that it came off and barked and walked and stuff, but he thinks it's pretty cool.
And this little tractor lunch box is so funny. He will put all kinds of little toys in it and carry it around.
For Christmas, our house was filled with tractors, trucks, and toy guns. I know it isn't about the toys. We are grateful for the true meaning of Christmas. However, once you have kids and they start to get to an age where they get excited and are so happy, it is really fun. It makes getting toys so fun because you know it will make them happy. Anyway, we are very excited that we got to spend the day together as a family and that Rett didn't go into work because of the snow storm! We hope everyone else had a fun Christmas as well! And thanks for the gifts for Crew. He really is such a spoiled kid since he and Drake are the only grandkids on Rett's side.
